No controversy, no arguments this week. It’s Christmas so we want to do no more than wish all Menston followers of this blog, and any who just drop in, a very happy time. We’re promised a wet, rather than a white, Christmas so below there’s a little reminder of just how lovely our Wharfedale village looks when covered with the white stuff (click on any picture to see the mosaic as a slide show).
While you’re reminiscing, you can listen to a lovely carol which will probably be new to most of you. Just click on it – it should open in a new window so you can leave it playing and come back to read the rest of this post.
Romanian carol – Vitleem colo-n jos (‘Down there in Bethlehem’)
Chairman of the Menston Community Association, Steve Ellams, has dropped a Christmas message on to the MCA page, click here to read it. And don’t forget the first meeting of the New Year, on Wednesday 8 January, when things will really begin to move on several projects from the car show to more notices around the village.
