a. The Follow the Fleece music theatre company on Sat. October 11 are bringing a new show to St. John’s: 1914 – Over by Christmas, which will include some Menston local history, including the Belgian refugee camps around the village and at High Royds, and allusions to the Rev. Sam Hall, a young Vicar of Menston in the 1880s, responsible for the impetus behind the building of the north aisle and the organ chamber, who at the age of 65 was a chaplain in the trenches as a member of the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.
b. Wilfred Jennings Memorial Stone in Churchyard
c. Butterfield family – progress with contact
d. Visit to War Graves by bus – see report from Alan and Judith.(If the cost was £500 say in full or £200 deposit on booking needed by end of July for next year, then £150 by Dec 31st and £150 4 weeks before departure).

g. Map identifying the homes in Menston of the 363 men and 18 nurses who served and the 50 Fallen Heroes.
